The new alignment of Robegano bypasses the town of Martellago from West, linking Regional Road 245 to the North and Provincial Road 36 to the South, and is a part of the works complementary to the construction of the Mestre bypass. The goal of the project is to improve the level of service along the Spinea-Mirano-Maerne-Martellago-Scorzè artery, so avoiding the Martellago residential area, which would otherwise be overloaded.

The project at issue is about approximately 3300 m long, made up of three road stretches connected by two roundabout intersections.
Two more roundabouts were designed at the beginning and at both ends of the road.

The road section used conforms to the features of an F1 secondary interurban road as provided for by the legislation in force (D.M. 05/Nov./2001) and is made of a single roadway with two 3.5 m lanes and one 1 m shoulder on the right side. At the sides of the roadway a 1 m turf platform appropriate for the installation of a safety barrier or other decorative features or signs, as needed.

The structures to be highlighted are three, i.e. the bridge on Rio Storto, 24.3 m long, the flyover over the bypass road – total length 125 m – and the 170 m long underpass at S.Elena's landfill in the Municipal District of Salzano. In this stretch a reinforced concrete slab is built on the roadway to isolate the new structure from the landfill material, which is placed at the approximate depth of 1 m from ground level.
