The project is about the construction of a road stretch of approximate length 950 m, leading onto the new layout of State Road 50 bis, from one side at the Arsiè ENEL plant, from the other side 150-200 m before the exit for Giaroni town. The designed section is part of the alignment termed the “Val Belluna express way” in the early eighties, that was meant to link State Road n.47 "Valsugana" to the State Road n.51 "di Alemagna" Starting from the Arsiè side the designed road features a slightly downhill stretch (1,2%) for about 100 m, then followed by a 50 m bored tunnel, a 2 310 m natural tunnel running under Mount Tol (slightly uphill, 3%), a 266 m bridge over Cismon Stream (slightly downhill, 0,5%) and a last 250 m stretch connecting the road to the previously existing roadbed.

The geometric features of the roadway are type IV according to CNR 78/80 standards for interurban roads, two lanes of width 3.75 m, two1.50 m shoulders and 0.75 m roadside elements (embankments or ditches).

The bored tunnel stretch is necessary to pass under the old roadbed of State Road SS50 bis and connects with the ENEL plant access road. For the tunnel stretch the road section features two 3.75 m lanes, one 0.25 m roadside strip and a 0.75 m sidewalk on either side.
The bridge over Stream Cismon is designed as encompassing 5 bays, two 43 m bays at the ends and three 60 m bays in the middle.
